What this means
The manual's first check for this code is whether the outdoor unit's air outlet is blocked, for example by a parked car or similar object. If the code returns after the obstruction is cleared, the unit needs service.
What you can check yourself
- Switch off the power and remove the obstruction from the outdoor unit's air outlet.
- Switch the power on and start the unit again; if the operation lamp blinks again, note the model name (or the 4-digit check code) and contact a service provider.
