What this means
The unit is performing automatic defrosting, or in a multi-unit system it has paused because incompatible modes such as HEAT with COOL, DRY, or FAN are active. This is normally not an error.
What you can check yourself
- Wait for defrosting to finish; it can last up to 15 minutes.
- In a multi-unit system, set the connected indoor units to compatible operating modes.
